Ballet Beyond - Osende Dance Arts

This was my first ballet experience with Maria at Danspace. Her classes have been incredibly helpful for my fitness goals and have improved both my physical and mental well-being. Maria is passionate, fun, and detail-oriented. It’s also been great meeting and working with different people in class. Highly recommend!

Beautiful class…Marel is an amazing teacher, she helps you in understanding the movement and making sure you get it right. Lovely class, very more advanced which is amazing.
Would love to go for the spring classes.

Marel is a fantastic teacher. I like that she teaches specific skills like pirouettes, and she breaks them down so we can learn them. The class is fun and we learn so much.

Marel’s class is fantastic! She is an amazing teacher who clearly points out where the muscles are felt, which is beneficial for beginners. I would definitely take Marel’s class again.

My only suggestion would be to leave some space for questions between exercises.

Joined the absolute beginners class with no previous ballet experience, continued to this one, and absolutely loved it! Maria is a brilliant instructor and teaches a great balance of foundational technique & musicality. The classes have really helped to re-ignite my love for dance, and I look forward to learning more in the future. Would highly recommend!

I was so happy to attend classes of Flamenco School. I was a beginner, but Karen explained and showed every movement in detail. I always got help and support. Plus it iwas just a lot of fun.

I didn’t know it could be so expressive.

This class was absolutely wonderful. I did not manage to make each class as I would have preferred, but I thoroughly enjoyed the classmates, their enthusiasm and how they embraced Marias beautiful choreography.
The choreography engaged so much detail that would be relevant for what we are learning technically at this point and level of study.
Just a joy to study and engage with the other classmates to perform Maria’s choreography in our school recital.

Amazing classes, I learned a lot. I really like when we take time to perform strengthening exercises.

So interesting and such an enigmatic rhythm. A wonderful class.

I especially liked this class because of the combination of technique and choreography, which didn’t seem too overwhelming. I’m pleasantly surprised that I actually feel quite confident for the performance on Saturday.
