Sevillanas Summer Practices & Rehearsals

Please join us for two practice sessions as we refine our sevillanas together. Please note that this is not a class to learn sevillanas; participants should already know all or most of the dance. We will work on various versions, details, and refining style.

Class Schedule:

• Thursday, July 11 at 7:30 PM at Halifax Dance with Maria

• Thursday, July 18 at 7:30 PM at Halifax Dance with Karen

These classes are drop-in for just $10 for anyone interested in reviewing and practicing sevillanas.

They are free and mandatory for those performing as part of For the Love of Flamenco at the 2024 Nova Multifest on Sunday, July 22 at 4:45 PM at Alderney Landing (Dartmouth).

If you know all four sevillanas, we invite you to join us to perform at the 2024 Nova Multifest. We have 8 dancers so far and would consider adding more. Participants wishing to perform should know all four sevillanas with arms.
